Almond Lemon Cake Italian Cooking

Almond lemon cake is another sweet taste of Italian cooking. You can cook it for very little efforts with sweet taste if you are passionate about lemons taste.

You need following ingredients:

- 3 lemons
- 100 g ground almonds
- 250 g sugar
- 6 eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking powder

Wash the lemons carefully then boil them for an hour till the water color changed to yellow. Drain the lemons and cut them in half width-wise. Now chop the lemons and put them through food mill. Now scoop up all that and put in a wire mesh strainer by rubbing them lemon paste. This process will take few minutes. But then you can expect a sweet grained lemon cream. Preheat the oven to 180C whole putting the lemons through sieve.

Once devided the blanched peeled almonds into three batches then combine the all batches aside. Drop yolks and sugar in a medium bowl until that pale yellow looking, and now beat in the lemon and powdered almonds. Fold the beaten whites into the lemon mixture.

Ok, so keep yourself alert while baking the care for an hour because it might start burning.

Once it is done, open the spring pan, remove the sides, and make the cake cool on the base of the pan before dusting it with the confectioner's sugar.
